Steps not counted

Can someone please explain why the steps of a sudden isn't counted? I haven't changed anything and looked though all settings.

Yesterday I took a walk, returned with 0(!) steps counted even when I had my watch on. The weird thing is the Google Fitness did in fact count, so why not Samsung?

And today another walk. Total steps for that is over 8400, yet my total of the day is just 8300. Look at the attached picture.

No more steps have been recorded today and I have taken another walk since the one shown on the picture. 

This is quite a riddle I'd say, if anyone have an answer please share.

Same again today, Google has counted a little over 2500 steps and Samsung remains at 0.

I have restarted both my watch and telephone.

We're sorry to hear you're having issues. Sometimes, there can be a difference between Google Fitness and Samsung Health as they are different apps, but it’s true that it's not normal for the app to count 0 steps. ç

Could you please try the following steps?

  1. Restart your device.
  2. Ensure that Samsung Health has the necessary permissions enabled.
  3. Check if there are any pending updates for the app.
  4. Sync your steps manually by refreshing the app.
  5. Try reinstalling the app if the issue persists.

charging my watch,  but my S22 ultra not recording steps!

Any suggestions if you've done all of those steps? Mine hasn't changed in hours
