Galaxy watch with Sportstracker app

Does anybody have experience of use any Galaxy watch to measure heart rate having it connected with Sportstracker application running on phone? I have used this app for some 10 years and my Galaxy watch 3 (Tizen operation system) does not yet support connection, but suppose the watches running on android will. Before buying a new watch want to be sure

Hi @Raimo67y according to sportstracker's website both watches with Android OS and watchOS are supported and Samsung's "newer" watches run WearOS. but they recommend that you use a Bluetooth heart rate monitor that you put over your chest but should work just as well with the watch.

Thank you very much for this advice! I have used the over-chest-heart rate monitor, but it is not convenient, so I'm planning to purchase the Galaxy watch 6  🙂

Unfortunately, we can never guarantee compatibility to third-party products/services and thus we can never guarantee that it will work as desired.

As Sports Tracker is unfortunately a third-party service, we unfortunately cannot provide any guarantee that the newer watches on the market will be able to connect to the app as desired.

In these cases, we recommend that you contact the responsible publisher of the app to see what is required for the app in question in order to be able to connect it to other devices.

Anybody using Sports Tracer on any Galaxy Watch? Looks it will not get installed on Galaxy Watch6 😞

Minulla taitaa olla juuri nyt sama pulma kuin Sinullakin: hiljan ostamani Galaxy Watch6 Classic ei ota sovelluksekseen Sports Tracker'iä, vaikka sellainen on luurissani Galaxy S21. Ja minulle tämä on harmillista siksi, että tuo ST hyväksyy sykeanturikseen mm. Suunnon BLE - ulkoisen sykevyön. Olen sen antamia mittaustuloksia testannut ja verrannut ranteesta mittaaviin ja tullut lopputulemaan, että se on tarkempi kuin ranteesta mittaavat.

Toisaalta - olen myös jo tottunut tähän Sports Tracker'iin ja sen karuihin, mutta asianmukaisiin ominaisuuksiin - asia jota minä pidän hyveenä!

Jos joku keksii kuinka ST:n saa installoitua Watch6:een, niin suurella kiitollisuudella tämmöisen tiedon vastaanottaisin.

Has anyone had any luck in getting Sports tracker working on the Samsung watch 7? I have data going back to 2018 that l would like to keep but l can't seem to download it to the watch
