Zfold 4 update and now a black screen on the inside

and yet another Zfold 4 update and now a black screen on the inside, we cant all be having bad luck, just had the 6 and now wondering if my £2000 will be worthless in 2 years.....................we need some sort of a group to push Samsung to answer ...

If you perform a forum search you will find existing threads with some similar issues some owners have experienced. 

I would therefore suggest to send this as feedback via your Samsung Members App too ,so that Samsung directly recieves your information.

Im facing same issue after the update. 

Series of events after the update on fold 4

First 2days after update wifi was turning on nor connecting 

2days later  bluetooth was not working (only could hear music but no mic)

Yesterday was in flight so turned on the flight mode but after I landed tried to turn off flight mode .it turned off in grey mode (in between on and off mode )

From here on there was no signal or network on my mobile 

Could not use my number on any other phone as it was esim 

Luckily took back of all the data (but still fear some data might be missing)

Tried to reset the phone but in vain.

Took it to Samsung service centre they are like it mat be motherboard issue...I mean WTF ?after having the update im getting all the nonsensical issues.

Now phone is dead it would not turn on but vibrates now and then and keeps getting heated 

Basically the update from Samsung systematically killed my mobile on a step by step basis

On 17Nov24, I updated my z fold 4 to 6.1.1 and it says it has security patch level : 1 November 2024. I have the same problem with my internal screen is now gone. The outer screen is still working. I try to restart the phone and it gets stuck at Samsung logo and i have to press power+volume down buttons to get it restart again. One thing i also notice is that the eyeshield comfort is no longer working

Have joined the queue of folks with the black screen issue. I updated the software on my Fold 4 and within minutes the inner screen failed. I'm shocked that Samsung can push a software upgrade out that causes the issue and remains silent on their culpability. I cannot find a solution anywhere aside from buying a new phone or paying lots of £ to have the problem fixed. If anyone has found a different solution I'd be very grateful to hear about it. My house is full of Samsung electronics and it seems the only thing I can do is ditch the brand and at least feel a little better they will not get any more £ from me. Not that they will notice, or care. Feeling exasperated!
