Hi @bung2
If a phone appears to present accidental damage then Samsung can decline support under the 24 month Manufacturer's Warranty I'm afraid.
That said expected " scratches " as fair wear and tear isn't something I'd expect Samsung to decline support on.
It might be worth visiting a Samsung Experience Store or contact Samsung directly for a second opinion.
If you have another form of insurance such as Home Contents Insurance ,and or some banks offer phone cover as a perk of the account, then that maybe an alternative.
In regards to the problems with the connections you've mentioned have you tried any troubleshooting steps such as >
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I had this same issue on my Fold 4 (20 month old!) WiFi would just turn grey and not actually switch on. Got in touch with Samsung via the web chat, get the usual do this do that including factory reset etc.. Eventually Samsung sent a courier out to collect my phone. Phone was with them for a week. They replaced the main screen and both batteries. Not sure what that had to do with the WiFi but it now works! Oh and it was FREE! After some light geeky reading I read that the flex mechanism has a part to play in knocking the WiFi off and somehow it's attached to the inner screen. Anyway it's all sorted now. Did I say it was FREE? Anyway that was my experience. Said Anyway a lot now... Anywho's... That's a what happened to my 20 month old fold 4 🙂
