Z Fold 7 main screen issue

Hi all, recently upgraded to the Z Fold 7 coming from s22 Ultra. Whilst loving the new phone I have noticed this with the main screen. When folded it appears the inner screen touches with visible proof of this when opened up again leaving marks where it has been sitting. Is this a normal thing with this phone. The marks can be wiped off as its just oils from the hands after use but even the tiniest of dust particles leaves an imprint in the screen protector. I have also noticed an uneven right side of the display that almost feels lumpy when sliding a finger up and down, around the same place to where it touches the other side.

I've bought two Fold 7, for me and my mom and both of them have the same issue, it did not happen with the previous models. My assumption would be that it's because of the new teardrop hinge design which makes the halves of the screen touch because they expand and contract just the tiniest bit. Samsung support was as useful as most of the comments here so not at all.

I totally agree with this, it's my thoughts exactly. I'm afraid until Samsung have had enough user reports of this then it won't be recognised as an issue for them to look into. The online agents are no help at all so I don't know how to raise the issue further.

Still yet to get a proper answer from Samsung. Been into the store and spoke to online tech support with no result. Just waiting on hearing back via email

I have the same thing happening to the screen on my phone. A little weird it's only happening right there rather than anywhere else on the screen. So far it seems like the oils are just being pressed together and spreading. I've been able to wipe it away but my question is whether or not there may be a bigger issue down the line. This has been the only post I've been able to find of it so far.

This happen to me as well and it was because I was weedwacking and had the phone in my pocket, im thinking it was because I was sweating (phone was in a zip lock bag) or body temperature. I took it out my pocket and set it down on the rail and all was good, yes Fold 7.

I posted this on Reddit and apparently couple of people are having this issue to. Mine was setting at home, cold room. It's still doing it tho

Well today I went up the hill on my property and left it on the golf cart and opened it after 1 hour, same thing again. This most be a problem with the screen its self. Might have to get the extended warranty from Samsung because it dont look good for us Fold 7.🤨

Happened to me for the first time. Has been about 4 days since I have had the Z Fold 7. It wiped off completely.
