What did you do in the end? Did you get it replaced, repaired, or just ignore it?

Thank you for your reply. I have the same issue, and I don't want to have a big problem in the future if I ignore this "angel wings" screen issue. Mine is going to be collected by DPD for an inspection today. I'm going to send it with the inner screen dirty because when it is clean, the screen issue is not visible. I am using a Fold 6 before pre-ordering the Fold 7. I've learned my lesson dealing with Samsung repair. You have to have a spare phone all the time because of situations like this. That was the reason why I had to buy my Fold 5; at that time, my Fold 4 was having an issue with the hinge, and the 24-month warranty was still active. I needed to get my Fold 4 repaired. Without having a spare phone is frustrating. If I am going to be offered a replacement, I'd take it. That is the advantage of having a spare phone. When I got the Fold 6, I bought the S24 Ultra; I could not resist because of the vouchers and discounts. So in the end I got the 1TB and paid only over £600. Then I smart switched from Fold 6, and some stuff was missing after the transfer. So a slab phone and fold don't really go well when you smart switching your files and data.

Unfortunately, I had to go bring it in and exchange it for a new one because Verizon only gives you thirty days to get a exchange for a new one and my screen would stay black when I open it, would unlock but with fingerprint only when open. Try putting back my Samsung care back but they changed the price so i got the insurance from Verizon instead. Oh and no more angle wings anymore.

Well this happens to my Fold7 to. It's normal. I recommend wiping of any larger dust particles from the main screen before folding it. I always do this.

NO this is not normal at all, if I was you, get a replacement while you have your 30 day from your carrier. I had a day one release and took it back to Verizon and they gave me a new one, I was lucky because they only had 1 in the back but long story short, got replacement and all is well. By the way, I only close my phone when I leave my house, other then that the phone is open even then it's charging at night when I go to bed.
