Can the factory inner screen protector be removed without voiding any part of the warranty? There seems to be conflicting opinions online. Also, some say that a screen protector on the inner screen can damage the screen over time. Any truth?

Hey @Nick_7782 !
I'd definitely advise against removing the protector on your own, as this can severely damage the screen and will void your warranty. If you're experiencing an issue with the screen protector, please arrange an inspection via the following link: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/
Alternatively, you can get in touch with our colleagues over Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, or X), or give them a call on 0333 000 0333 (available from 8am to 8pm on weekdays, and 9am to 6pm on weekends).

Removing the factory-installed internal screen protector will not usually void your warranty, but it's always a good idea to check with the manufacturer for specific terms. As for damage, some believe that using a screen protector on the internal screen can cause problems over time, such as air bubbles or pressure marks, but this largely depends on the quality of the screen protector and how it's applied.

I had the same problem with my earlier flip, and I had to make an appointment at the KingsCross shop, luckily I was in London at the time. They couldn't fit the new screen, so I had to send it away. The repair people wanted £230 for a new screen, as the battery was attached to the screen, they reckoned I broke it. I refused to pay, so they sent it back, and I purchased cheap screens on the Internet, bubbles included.
I would have thought that the flip 6 would be better but it has blown away from the fold, I am waiting for my wife to renew her old normal phone so I can utilise hers whilst I send mine back.
I won't be purchasing another one.
