Hello dear Samsung Community,
We are encountering a strange a blocking issue with our new Z Flip 6 from 2025.
When closing the lid of the phone, if we reopen it, the screen froze for 5s than came back as normal. Sometime, we have the message "System One UI error".
I've saw this issue numerous time on the forum and tried every official steps but without success.
For a complete list, we have :
- Made all the updates (Firmware, Play store & Samsung Store)
- Clear the cache of One UI
- Clear the System Data Cache (throught the "BIOS")
- Tested in Safe Mode > issue is still present as in normal mode
- Reset from factory > Issue come back after few days
- Tested in "Light" performance mode > Same issue
I think, in my understanding, that could be coming from a corrupted Android Core, which One UI is trying to use when closing the lid of the phone and need to restart.
The phone is still under warranty
Another symptom; the phone starts to becoming hotter than normal when closing fewer time the lid in a day and so, the battery drains.

In light of the extensive troubleshooting steps you've already tried, none of which have resolved the issue you're having, it's definitely worth sending an Error report to our software engineers, so they can look into the data logs and get to the bottom of the issue.

Hello,
We've tried to do so but we can't; the phone freeze while collecting the data and opening the case. We are forced to cold-restart to reclaim the phone after 5min black screen.
here is the photo taken with another smartphone while collecting the report for service request. We've tried several times, never the opportunity to end the process.
What can we do ?
While writing this message, the phone hasn't boot at the time, still in "processing"

Ah, that does put a spanner in the works. In that case, I'd suggest contacting your local Samsung Support team and asking if they are able to provide an alternative solution.

We are located in Luxembourg; but the first repair shop option is located 3h from Luxembourg & it seems we can't ask for a pickup because the Luxembourg website is the same for Belgium, but postcodes are not working 😕
Is that normal or have we made a missinput ?

That I couldn't tell you, I'm afraid. I'm based in the UK, so I'm not familiar with how the Service Centres operate in your neck of the woods.
I'd recommend speaking to the Support team at https://www.samsung.com/be_fr/support/contact/#showHide (select Assistance technique produit > Smartphones, tablettes et objets connectés > Contactez-nous). I'm sure they'll be able to do everything they can to help. 🙂
