Did anyone trade in their S24 Ultra for a Z Fold 6? Happy? Regrets? Any differences? Recommended?

Personally I would keep the ultra at least as a spare / backup and not trade it.

I bought a fold 6 and owned it a few days. For reasons of the phone being an EU model, i sent it back. I was planning on keeping the s23U i have as a spare anyway.

I enjoyed the fold 6 for 3 days... but realised that the folding aspect is a bit novelty. I did like it, but certain things like the aspect viewing on the main screen with it being close to a square format when open, meant that any extra screen size was somewhat unused in black bars anywaywhen viewing cinema and media.

Side by side with my ultra the viewing was not much bigger.

It was great for reading, browsing and other purposes. But I think I started questioning my own use cases. Did I really need a 7.6" screen on the move.

In the end I decided just to buy a standard samsung 11" tablet for the needs that I have. My ultra is still very good for normal phone use.

I will take a serious look at the next s25 ultra, rather than foldable at this stage 👍

Hi @GreaterGalaxyUK

I had the Fold³ before the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra and both are very different devices providing some different wants and needs.

The Folds are truly awesome in regards to media consumption.

So my advice to anyone is to try both in a Samsung Experience Store or Highstreet Network Store and have hands on.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
