Expert RAW 3x Mode Bug on Fold 6 – Oversaturated Images (Compared with S25)

I’ve noticed a bug in the Expert RAW app on the Galaxy Z Fold 6, specifically in the 3x zoom mode. The photos taken in this mode appear extremely saturated—colors look unnatural and far from real life.

In contrast, the 1x mode on the same device captures photos with true-to-life color reproduction.

I've attached a comparison image below to clearly show the difference.

Below is taken from Fold 6 - 3X Mode | Expert Raw

You can see how much the 3x mode saturated the image. Stock camera app doesn't have this issue.

To confirm, I compared the same scene using the S25’s 3x mode, and it does not have this issue—its colours remain natural and consistent across zoom levels.

Hey Samsung, Please look into this and consider fixing it in an upcoming update. Expert RAW is a powerful tool, and we’d love to see consistent colour science across zoom levels.

Just done that. Let’s see how long they take to resolve it.

I have not yet received a response to any bug reports I've submitted, beyond an automated acknowledgment that the report has been received and forwarded to the development team to give you a rough idea on time frame and what you could possibly expect.

However, it appears that 1 of the 3 bugs I reported (Along with likely many others) in this case regarding image capture contrast, highlight, and tone ect controls for 12MP HEIC images in the camera app shortly after upgrading to One UI 7 has been addressed now in a recent patch update, so a couple of months isn't too bad really. The issue wasn't resolved in the first One UI 7 patch which is understandable as I'm sure they already have a likely hellish comprehensive prioritization plan in place with One UI 7. The relevant software version is S928BXXU4BYE7, for your reference if it helps.

Yeah, totally agree — Expert RAW is awesome, but things like this kind of break the consistency. Glad to know I'm not the only one noticing it. Fingers crossed they actually look into it soon. Appreciate your detailed comment, it really helps!

Just have to wait and see. The one I spotted may have been addressed quicker as doing a combination of steps I could reliably make the app crash with it too so it affected stability not just usability.

I've noticed many quirks of the camera systems for example, some of you just learn the solution too in your post-capture pipeline but if any manufacturer spoke more with people who enjoy photography (or whatever software based tool) they could help distal down functional improvements. I'd love to test hardware but the best I can do is provide feedback through this app beta testing what's available to me.
