Z Fold 3 USB Connection To PCs Keeps Dropping Out

For a while now My Z Fold 3 5G when plugged into the computer via an expensive usb cable, Keeps disconnecting.

At first it was a one off and then would be ok but the last time I tried to dump my pictures onto the computer via cut and paste to specific albums it kept disconnecting repeatedly. This has happened on more than one cable so  I find it hard to believe it is the cable. I mean anything is possible but still multiple new cables can't all be bad. Even tried changing the port witch I did yesterday after I got done for the day but haven't really had it plugged in for long since. I did plug it in today long enough to copy a few files from the pc but not the amount of work I was doing the other day. Time will tell if that fixes it but since its on going with multiple cables even if it does briefly fix I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again.

Not only that but along with that if I try to play a video from the phone to the pc via the cable it will play but once done and ended and closed that particular file will not be allowed to open again and can not be cut and pasted to the pc. It acts as if it is still in use when it shouldn't be since it was watched closed exited and gone back to the main folder. This happens every time I preview a video so that is annoying.

Seems like something more is going on than a simple cable fix since there are other threads or posts on here of the same thing happening with other Samsung phones,

What are we supposed to do buy a new cable every week? No it needs to be fixed.

After years and numerous cables, I found it is usually pocket lint, buy a can of compressed air, clean the charge port.

You can blow into the port but not as effective.

I thought of that after the post and grabbed a new old school tooth brush and gently brushed out the port. Some lint did come out but time will tell if it happens again or not.

I refuse to use compressed air after geeks told me to do that to my tower and fried the motherboard in the process so no ty on the air lol.

Thanks though...

I think the toothbrush could do more harm, probably better blowing into it just make sure no spit goes in.

I have used compressed Air for a few years now, it actually started when a laptop stopped charging, tried everything, replaced the charger the same, was being told the charger port needs replacing, then my brother an IT whizz said try compressed air into the charge port, problem solved.
