Z fold 3 no sound on inner screen

Hello all, since the last software update when opening screescreen to full mode the sound dissapears. I have tested speakers in diagnostic mode with phone shut and all good. Once opened no sound. Can anyone shed light on this?

For the inner screen part, make sure you fold the phone, lock the outer display, then open the inner screen again.

I have the same issue with my Z Fold 3 . I went to mobile repairing shop and they told me that the centre area of the phone  has connecting strips which would damage after 10,000 counts of opening and closing of phone. Samsung never disclosed this important information. 

So, you will  have to change the strips and it will cost around 50-100$.

Got the same problem after 2 yrs.

So, I should have been opening and closing the phone at least 13 times each day!!!

Went to Samsung workshop itself and was told that they cannot gtee that when removing the inner screen to repair this strip, the screen will, in practically all cases, have to be replaced at an additional cost of USD 500

I just recently faced this issue and had to change the strips which cost me around 80 dollors.

Go to any good repairing shop and they will change the strip without damaging the inner screen and you will not lose you data while you activate Maintenance mode but remember the PIN

Has samsung come back with when the next update is going to fix the last updae?  No sound when I open, no auto rotate... worst update yet.   This is an expensive phone bought for these features that are now useless.  When is it going to be fixed

Samsung is not supporting their devices as they should. The audio drivers are not functional at all, and it is a simple fix for Samsung support team to simply roll-back or re-install good drivers into the software update. The issue is not only with the open screen with no sound but also bad sound when telephone is on, messenger audio, whatsapp calls, and etc.    This is a audio driver issue and Samsung does NOTHING. @!!

Mine had the no rotate and no main screen sound, updated today rotate works but inner manifold n screen will work only if open to around 90-95 degrees

I avoided updating new software. But my inner screen stopped working. I updated the software but it remains the same. However, I turned off the phone as unfolded and screen issue resolved. Now my sound isn't working. It works only when I fold it half way. Outside screen has no issue. Its definitely something with the software updates. Did anyone try factory reset?
