Z Fold 3 and 4 update from One UI 5.0 to 5.1 Wi-Fi issue

Z Fold 3 using from Hong Kong, with same issue, after update One Ui 5.0 to 5.1 and the phone restart it could not go on Wi-Fi. Tried "General Management" "Reset" "Reset network settings" did not work, tried "Factory Reset" and did not resolve it.
Brought it in to service center and they told me the Wi-Fi module is damage and need to change it, but because its link to the LCD it will need to be change as well (repair cost 4200hk$ 535US$) after 2 day back and forward they told me they give me 50% off the repair cost, as I did not want to wait anymore I paid for the new quotation and now waiting for my phone to get repaired because I press update 5.0 to 5.1 lol.

I have currently find around 10-15 case that involve Z Fold phone and One UI 5.1 – Wi-Fi problem. Please Reply post if you have this issue. Thanks in Advance.

Same issue here from Hong Kong.

Wifi and hotspot not working after the update. Screen freeze while unfolded and force restart. The back of the phone would feel super hot.

Brought to repair center and they claimed this as hardware issue and have to pay HKD 4k to replace the whole main screen. 

 

Probably won't buy Samsung anymore.

Did u manage to fix the problem? I just started to encounter this problem after my one ui version auto updated overnight.

Same problem! with no wifi and no bluetooth connection. I heard in other forums is related with the screen but, are Samsung is aware of it and they going to accept to pay the cost of the repairs? my fold 4 is just 9 month old! 

UPDATE:

SAMSUNG ACCEPT TO FIX THE PHONE CHANGING THE HOLE SCREEN. IT TAKE LIKE 8 DAYS OR SO BUT THEY FIXED IT WITH NO CHARGE.(UNDER WARRANTY).

It doesn't help.

Called and Emailed the customer service and they just ask me to go to the service center. 

The service center just requires you to pay the HKD 4K repair cost plus HKD 2xx inspection cost. I refused.

The main screen then became completely malfunction few days after!

No they don't. 

Asked and the CS replied they didn't receive any internal notice about this issue.

You still have to pay to repair for their fault.

I took it back to Hong Kong Samsung Service Center and paid 50% off the original quotation of 4200HKD. After the service every time my phone drop down to 3G or 4G it dose not automatically go back to 5G I have to restart the phone (lost for words).

PS, also when they change my screen's, and few month earlier I paid for Samsung to install screen protector and when I got the phone back the screen protector was removed from my small screen with out telling me. (bad service).

If 9 month old then is under warranty they should fix it for free, for my case my phone is Z fold 3 and out of warranty, so it 1 small consumer to fight a large cooperation as Samsung, and so far my end battel is to pay as I need my phone for daily use.
