Z Fold 3 and 4 update from One UI 5.0 to 5.1 Wi-Fi issue

Z Fold 3 using from Hong Kong, with same issue, after update One Ui 5.0 to 5.1 and the phone restart it could not go on Wi-Fi. Tried "General Management" "Reset" "Reset network settings" did not work, tried "Factory Reset" and did not resolve it.
Brought it in to service center and they told me the Wi-Fi module is damage and need to change it, but because its link to the LCD it will need to be change as well (repair cost 4200hk$ 535US$) after 2 day back and forward they told me they give me 50% off the repair cost, as I did not want to wait anymore I paid for the new quotation and now waiting for my phone to get repaired because I press update 5.0 to 5.1 lol.

I have currently find around 10-15 case that involve Z Fold phone and One UI 5.1 – Wi-Fi problem. Please Reply post if you have this issue. Thanks in Advance.

under warranty get it back to Samsung to get them fix it

I took it back to Hong Kong Samsung Service Center and paid 50% off the original quotation of 4200HKD. After the service (yes it fix the WIFI problem) but every time my phone drop down to 3G or 4G it dose not automatically go back to 5G I have to restart the phone (lost for words).

PS, few month earlier I paid for Samsung to install screen protector and when I got the phone back the screen protector was removed from my small screen with out telling me. (bad service).

I like the phone, but yes, this One UI 5.1 and ppl with Z fold 3 that dose not have warranty have to pay 2XXX-4XXX to fix it because WIFI module need to be replace and the WIFI module is hardware fix tot he screen so you need to replace the screen (grate design lol).

wow that worse then my problem, as both screen work only can't connect to WIFI so lot of my data got use up very quick, so finally had PAY Samsung HK service center to repaid the Z fold 3 (out of warranty).

After a lot of phone calls with samsung and a chat with them in store. They finally repaired the phone for free.

The guy on the phone alluded to the fact that samsung is aware if the issue but the store wouldnt make any such admissions.

upsetcustomer22, would you have any support document you can share for user that have the same problem, I ended up paying 2XXXhk$ to mix my wifi problem.

The issue just hit my Fold 4 yesterday and the phone warranty is just expired. Eveything is working except the WiFi and even the original screen protector is still fully attaching to the screen.

Yet to send it for repair because I first need to buy a new phone ($) to keep the data and daily work use. Then, pay money ($$) for the inspection. Finally, probably they will tell the same story about replacing the screen all together that would cost a significant amount ($$$).

I have the same issue after the Dec 23 update. Wifi and bluetooth both wont connect.
