Can't seem to hide apps, showing as hidden but still in app drawer

@Chameleon: Are you experiencing this issue with all apps, or just certain ones? If you head to Settings > Home screen > Hide apps on Home and Apps screens > Tap on the relevant app(s), are you making sure to tap 'Done' at the bottom of the screen?

Yes, made no difference, when I removed the applications I had hidden back into app drawer it duplicates them, 🤔 some of which are pre installed so you can't delete them neither,,

@Chameleon: That's strange. Which apps in particular are currently affected by this issue? If you head to Settings > Apps, can you see duplicates of the app(s) in this location?

OK, prior to updating to the beta I had a number of apps hidden, like :- Tips, Gboard, messages, one drive, and few others.
After installing Beta, these apps were now showing in my App drawer as if they weren't hidden.
I then went to again hide them only to realise that they were still shown as hidden..
I then unchecked them, as if to move them back into app drawer, which they did. Hence duplication..
I tried to uninstall some of the apps which corrected the issue but the pre installed apps remain the same.. lol
