I'm impressed with Samsung's positive approach to warranty repairs. I made a claim for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 that I bought at launch last year, where the screen is beginning to unpeel right by the fold hinges. No quibbles, they sent a courier to collect my phone, and I expect to receive it back with a new screen soon.
There could be concerns for Samsung, though, as this happened to the Galaxy Z Flip 4 I had before. I don't think the tech is an issue; perhaps more a manufacturing problem.
Still, foldables are ❤️

While my Z Flip 5 is with Samsung for the warranty repair, I'm using my spare phone, a Galaxy S10 Lite from 2020. It's actually pretty good in a functional comparison, with a better camera, 8 gigs of RAM (like the Z Flip 5), and 4500mAh battery compared to 3700mAh in the Z Flip 5 (seriously underpowered).
But getting used to a rigid slab again that is the S10 compared to the delightful fold of the Z Flip 5 takes some work. And I don't want to get used to it! I ❤️ my foldable phone!
