I received my Flip 3 as a gift from a good friend who has had the phone for a number of years and not used it so it is out of warranty. Some of my other friends commented on how expensive these phones are, as my last phone was a Smart from Vodaphone 4g which I had for a number of years, I was naturally thrilled to have such an expensive and beautiful sought after phone, however what I noticed from around the second or third month was the phone on several occasions got very hot, it was normally when I was on Maps, or facebook, or youtube if for 10 mins or more the phone was like an electric hand warmer, great for the winter, but not one of the features of the phone I was told of, then the middle flip bit started to bend up, like when I used to open the phone it was pure flat to the table, then all of a sudden it started to curl, and then a few days ago a line appeared in the middle of the phone a gray line I didnt know what it was then today it was like ink ran from the line into both sides of my screen, now my upper screen is un-responsive and the lower on is, not great eh, sad thing is it would cost too much to get it repaired and I have so many memories stored on it I wont be able to retrieve them, plus I won't be going for a Samsung phone again. And my friend whom Ive sworn to that I didnt drop or damage it thinks I have and that Im telling tall tales.
