Hi everyone. I have such a issue with WhatsApp. I barely receive a video call if the phone is unused. If I got lucky and use the phone on that time - I receive the call, otherwise all of them are missed calls. Reinstalled the app and the same. I don't have any background restriction for this application, no any network background limitation or such things.
Any ideas folks?

@Chiril-Eftodii hello, check the following points.Access Settings/Applications and search for Whatsapp, in the options: Permissions-check all permissions. In Battery-verify that the Restricted option is not activated, correct it in Optimized.
Access the app Device care/Battery/Limits of use in the background and verify that the WhatsApp app is not in one of the positions: Apps inactive, or Apps always inactive.Comment us, greetings.

Greetings. None of the following are in use. App is in unrestricted mode and the effect is the same: video calls are not getting through. Just notification of missed calls.

@Chiril-Eftodii Well, I can't think of anything else other than resetting app preferences. This step allows you to unlock some app restrictions, but I'm not sure it will work. You can try it from Settings/Applications-the three dots at the top-right- Reset preferences. You do not lose personal data. Greetings.

I just reset the applications preferences but not sure about the results. I have reinstalled the app and still the same. Wrote to WhatsApp support and they suggest to check the restrictions thing. In my case is unrestricted. No idea...
Really thinking about changing the phone...
Maybe is a bad update from WhatsApp??? Coz I haven't this issue a half year ago...

@Chiril-Eftodii: Please can you try heading to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Notifications > Group notifications > Alert (On) > Sound > Choose your preferred option > Lock screen > Show content. Go back, and apply the same settings to the other notification subheadings, making sure that your Lock screen option is set to 'Show content'. You can also set it to 'Hide content' if you want, just so long as 'Don't show notifications' is not selected. Let me know if this helps.
