Spam call ?

Very infuriated... 

Got a call and answered but she said wrong call so i ended the call quickly. She called again in 2 hours but I didn't answer. Then called again but I declined. 4th time AGAIN and she said oh again wrong call so weird ... 

I usually don't pick up fraud call but this is an unnecessary spam. Anyone experience the same problem?

I'm not usually affected by such calls as I choose not to answer private or withheld calls or numbers I do not recognise. 

To add ~ On the phone in Phone App > Tap on the 3 little dots in the top Rh Corner > Block Calls > Toggle On Block Calls from Unknown Numbers should help to stop such incoming calls.

Also > Block Spam and Scam Calls >  Caller ID and Spam Protection.

If anything does get through in regards to a number I don't recognise then I  manually Block the number after ignoring it.

I get a lot of spam calls, I usually just end the call and press the block option which appears for a couple of seconds after you end the call. I also use bitdefender and have spam protection activated so a lot of known spam and fraud calls are picked up and you get a warning

Yeah I blocked her thank you. Was worried if it was a family or friend that was calling but it was very random and especially at night time it's very frustrating.

Yes usually the fraud/ spam call comes up in the call but this woman kept calling. She said wrong call but continously called. It was very frustrating at night but thank u🥲🥺

Sounds like she has simply stored the intended recipient's number incorrectly.

I use the Hiya service and get few spam calls however I also tend not to answer  numbers I do not recognise.   A message should be left if happens to be something important.  Exception is if expecting hospital call which are 0800 numbers .

Use Hiya service as @JAMES4578 suggested. It does help to reduce the number of potential spam calls. Plus it automatically detects and block numbers which tends to be malicious. I usually report these sorts of numbers. Same thing if I was to get a scam text message, I just forward it to 7726 then delete the message afterwards.

Yes it it is worthwhile reporting spam/scam calls.  The 7726 spells spam on the keypad as I am sure many know.  This is a one  site for phone number check https://who-called.co.uk/  to see if others have had a negative experience though do get an instinct for scams.
