I bought my z flip about 4 months ago. The past 3 days my front screen will no longer stay on and it is just a black screen, or i get the on screen glitches/"snow"/"static" while using my phone then it will freeze then go black. I have been doing constant hard resets just to be able to use my front screen at all. My back screen will work SOMETIMES after unlocking, and hearing the sound after it unlocks. This only started happening recently after updating to the recent One UI update. I did a factory reset and right after it finished the exact same problem was happening constantly. I am getting a replacement phone soon. If this happens again i wont be buying the z flip 6 again. I've seen lots of other post about the black screen of death, please fix these phones. Its sad because i like this phone.

@gabbyn: I'm sorry to hear that you have encountered this problem with your Galaxy Z Flip6. Based on the persistence on the issue, and the troubleshooting steps you have attempted, I recommend backing up the device and performing a factory data reset. For a step by step guide on how to proceed, please refer to the link below.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-perform-factory-reset-on-my-mobile-device...

If the problem should persist after completing the factory reset then it would be beneficial to arrange for the phone to be inspected by an authorised engineer, who can address any software or hardware defects, and return the phone to working order for you. If you are based in the UK then you can arrange an inspection yourself via our Self Booking portal by following the link below.

Alternatively, please reach out to our Support Team by heading to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and an advisor will be able to make the necessary arrangements for you.

Think the best thing to try is to Wipe the Partition Cashe on the phone
Use the procedure below. Only takes a couple of minutes

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.

Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.

You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.

The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the Screen.

At this point, release the keys

Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose “Wipe Cache Partition” .

Use the power button to accept that.

You will then see its cleared.

Then the top option, reboot phone.

Press the power button to reboot the phone and then sign in normally
