My contacts have always shown my 'favorite' contacts at the top of the list. This makes it easy to quickly get to the only 5 or 6 people I actually care about
After updating yesterday, it now lists 'Recently Added' contacts above the 'Favorites'. I very much do not want this! I can't see how to sort it though...any help is appreciated. I want to keep using the Samsung contacts list, but definitely will not if I can't fix this 😮

Same thing happened here. The way I fixed for myself is to click on the "3 dots" on top right corner, "view by storage location" and changed it to phone. If you haven't saved your contacts to your phone, you can go to the actual "contacts" app, go into settings and then "Move contact to other storage location" and choose Phone
I hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for answering. This is what my screen looks like, so not sure where to change it.

Thanks, but I'm not seeing the option for 'recent'. See above for what the contacts screen looks like on mine right now 😮

Curious. When I do that, it still has 'Recently Added' contacts at the top 😞

I know how to get into their info, this is not something that's set by the contact. This is the phones OS choosing to show me 'recently added' contacts at the top of the contact list, above my favorites. Some of these are months old, because I don't add contacts very often
