One UI 6.1.1 Broke Z Flip 5 Cover Screen Home

I just updated my Z Flip 5 from 6.1 to 6.1.1. Doing this broke my cover screen's Home page. Is there a way to revert back to 6.1? Currently, nothing appears on my cover screen's Home page. It is just a blank screen. I can still swipe to different screens to see content, but there is no longer a clock or any content whatsoever on my home screen. This is also carrying over to my Always On Display. The clock and information that usually displays on that AOD screen is not there. It is just a black screen now.

In case anyone else runs into this issue, the cache suggestion did not fix the issue. Before I tried going back into the recovery menu to attempt to repair broken apps, I went and looked at my cover screen settings (Settings->Cover Screen). Everything was set exactly like it should be. On a whim, I changed my cover screen from the options at the top of the page to one of the other available screens. When I closed my phone, my Cover Screen's Home page was working again and so was my Cover Screen's Always On Display. I opened the phone, changed the cover screen back to its previous selection, and the screen kept working. So I'm up and running again.

Hello and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Once an update has been downloaded and accepted there isn't a way of going back to the previous software via the phone's settings.

As a starting point @NoUserName1  please try > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And double check all your settings please.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi. I'm facing the same problem. Could you please provide a step by step procedure how you fixed the issue?

@rurualedo: As a summary of the accepted solution, please follow the steps below.

Head to Settings > Cover screen > Change your existing cover screen image > Close the phone, and check your Cover screen.

If the image is displayed, open the phone again > Settings > Cover screen > Choose your previously selected image.

Thanks so much for your follow-up.

There was an update - dunno the version: rarely pay attention - this past weekend (beginning of December), and all of a sudden my cover screen only showed a pix. Just thought to search for a solution a few seconds ago, and your follow up was the top of the list.

And it worked.

Yaay.

Thnx again.
