Notifications not appearing on cover screen

Hello

I have a Z Flip 3 and when I got the phone it would show incoming app notifications when folded and just laying on the table.

For some reason it has stopped doing that - probably because I changed some setting somewhere?

I would just love to get that working again - any ideas?

Try below

Slide down the screen to access your Quick Settings

Tap on your Settings icon.

2 Select Advanced Features

.3 Tap on Smart Pop-Up View.

4 Toggle on the applications you would like to be viewed in Smart Pop-Up View.

5 When a new notification Pops-up, the new Chat Head will appear on your Home Page

Look in Settings,  Notifications, and look at the bottom where one of the options in blue text should say Notifications- Lock Screen.

I'm talking about notifications on the cover screen - when the phone is folded.

It has a video with a notification popping up on the cover screen - the exact thing not working on my phone.

But no description on how to fix it.

Do you have edge lighting on?
If so try Turning it off
And see if resolves the issue

Makes no difference.

If I turn it on where/when is this edge lightning supposed to appear?

If not then try to backtrack to what settings you think you may have changed.

Samsung Online Support should be able to help.

As a last resort back up and factory reset which may help.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I accessed the quick settings then advanced features, but there isn't any Smart Pop-up View?  I'm not tech savvy at all so I don't know if I'm missing something or just doing something wrong?  Thanks again
