The Galaxy Z Flip is automatically switching off while folding the phone. Its been a year since I've bought the phone. I bought the phone in US and using in India.
There is no impact on the phone before this happened i.e didn't drop the phone or in water.
I have also tried resetting the phone but didn't work.
Please help

I brought mine to a Samsung service point and they basically replaced the battery and the screen. On the plus side, I basically have a new Flip 3. On the negative side, I have no idea if the problem will reappear or if the replacement parts have some sort of design change to prevent this in the future.
The rep didn't tell me what causes this. My guess is on a loose connector or a broken flex cable, but it's a bit disconcerting that there's no information from Samsung.
This reminds me a bit of the purple line issue (do a google image search, it was a huge problem) that many Samsung phones had, the root cause for that was that they bent the display cable 180 degree with a too tight bend radius, which led to the cable breaking after some time. Samsung never officially acknowledged anything.
EDIT: Just wanted to say I'm otherwise really happy with my Flip 3. But these reliability issues are troubling.

Hi Peter, I regularly clear the cache of the app causing the issue (this is based on another user's advice) and can say that I do not experience that issue. Furthermore, I am no longer folding the phone. Mine is also 13 month old and after reading comments from other users, the handset fails truly badly after a year or so. Best to do is to not fold it. It is clear that Samsung will not accept responsibility and I can tell you, et al, that this is my very last Samsung product.

Just consider it as a loss, if you want to get it repaired it'll cost you half the price of the phone. I have done everything software updates, rebooting the device, factory reset what not. I had it checked in the service center and they said it was screen issue but I haven't dropped the phone once.
