Is there a class action lawsuit for z flip 3 screen cracks

I've been reading all the complaints about cracks along the fold on z flip 3 phones that are in warranty.

I'm also seeing that unsurprisingly Samsung has failed to stand behind their product.

It really bothers me because those of us who have purchased the phone are among their most loyal customers!

We're early adopters who went out on the limb at the cost of $1,000+ each.

Many of us myself included, have been long-term customers. My first Samsung phone was the S5 (which I still have), I've had nearly every flagship model since (including the S, edge and Note series).

As a matter of fact, I still have most of these phones that are many years older than my Z flip & none of them have damage! They're all in working still, not one cracked screen!

Yet here I am one year after buying this phone the screen is cracked along the fold which means it's not likely to still be water resistant (a important feature for me).

This is unacceptable and I'm wondering if anybody has already filed a class action lawsuit.

I am going to file class action in India. Can we start a petition to find how many people are affected?

At 9mos. the screen started blacken at the seam of my 80yo stepdads phone. Samsung wanted to charge a little over$300.00 to repair hinge. Buyer beware and purchase the extended warranty.

Mine definitely cracked right along the fold from what seemed like it was due to that stock protective laminate on the inner screen. I literally went to "unfold" or open the phone as normal and I heard a unfamiliar popping sound and behold a blacked out line of pixels about the with of a finger was going right down the center along with what seemed to be sorta like "stress" marking right on the area as well as if the protective film had lifted the actual screen up or stretched it apart from the slack along the crease while folded.. I can also note this was the first day there was a very noticeable change in the weather as it was the first cold day of winter which I'm also pretty certain played a part in causing the issue to happen. Normally it being warm would allow some a little more flex and give to the plastic but being cold it seemed to of became more brittle and less giving. I still haven't been able to get it fixed due to me being pretty tight on my funds . And now while I had been waiting trying to save up the 200 for the insurance fee i ended up cracking the outter screen now too  = ( I'm afraid of what they are going to tell me now 1 being it's takin me a while since the inner screen issue which was completely not anything I could have done to cause the problem unless i was aware to not open it up while cold and now 2 the outter screen shatters from falling out of my pocket while on my bike.... Neither screen are working at all at this point now. The inner crack slowly became wider and wider and now has 98% blacked out. And the front is all white and or flickers and is un usable.

Your a lucky one. my screen definitely cracked from the protector. The protector Samsung uses is a very brittle plastic film. This wouldn't be a issue if the protective film was maybe a little softer and more giving.

I would definitely join a class action.

Samsung left me hanging with a screen that has black lines down it.  I can't operate the phone with ylthe inner screen.  All I did was open the phone and heard what sounded like a tear and tada, black lines on screen.  My phone was sent to Sangsung twice before for the same repair, even after taking extra care of this phone, it still failed and now I'm left with a broken phone in a drawer as I refuse to pay for the same repair for a third time.  Samsung blames the consumer, yet how many of us have this same issue?
