I Feel So Letdown

Today I took delivery of a new Fold 6 528gb which I purchased on ebay. In short, I won't be able to use it. I love my S22 Ultra. on the Fold 6, however, the font on the SwiftKey keyboard is very small, and the fonts on most websites are minute.

I struggle to believe that Samsung are selling such a poorly designed product. It seems I have no option other than to sell it at a significant loss.

Have you checked the keyboard settings to see if you're able to make these larger to suit?

Have you also checked your general font settings?

Which browser are you using? Maybe there's some settings you can adjust there also? For example, Google Chrome can be set up to force a desktop view rather than mobile view. With desktop view everything will be smaller so it can be hard to view.

It would be great if you could detail what you've tried to do to resolve so we can make recommendations to improve your experience rather than bashing a company over something that could be user error/not adjusting your settings correctly 🙂

You bought off Ebay 🤨
Make sure the phone you have is for the region you live in for a start.
Your a braver person than me buying such an expensive device like that from there. Especially a newly released phone.
The keyboard will have different settings and you will be able to increase the size.
The memory size should be 512gb
Hopefully you bought from a reputable supplier 🤞

Have you perhaps given the Samsung Keyboard a go or one of the others to see if they provide a better typing / swiping option @Boble 

If your using Samsung Internet them you can zoom out to increase the font size by pinching out on the screen and kr look at the text size options in your display settings.

Samsung don't sell their phones on Ebay. What you mean is, you've bought a lemon off a 3rd party seller. 🤦

Not so. This is a genuine item. I just don't find it user-friendly. Sadly, the potential benefits don't outweigh the disadvantages.

There has to be a way of enlarging the text. As others have said, use the native keyboard and increase the font size. I'm due to review one shortly, so I'll be able to test this for myself. I can't understand how what is basically two phone screens side by side can have smaller text than my one S23U. I've not seen the outer screen yet, so I will need to have hands-on before I can comment. A quick Google search has revealed some possible workarounds for changing the text size when folded.

Hi, SwiftKey allows users to change the size of the keyboard, however, this appears to have little or no effect on the font size. Changing the phone's default font size or style also has no effect.

Never tried it tbh, or Gboard.
