@hendyhouse: To make sure I'm understanding your issue correctly, are you saying that your microphone isn't working outside of recording videos via the Camera app? To help with the troubleshooting process, please can you provide further details of the issue you're having, along with the model number of the device you're using?
@hendyhouse: Further to the above, is the issue you're experiencing only occurring in WhatsApp? For instance, if you head to the Samsung Members app > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > Mic, and follow the on-screen instructions, are you able to hear yourself in the playback for each test?
