Tried searching for this online and was just greeted with how to sort apps in the apps screen alphabetically, which is when you swipe up to see all apps. I want to sort apps within folders I've made on my main screen alphabetically, and there doesn't seem to be a solution.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @GautamD

I do not think there is an option with Samsung One Ui.

I'm not sure with other launchers such as Nova Prime.

I keep most of my apps in folders I've created and manually sort them alphabetically.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Could you not just drag one app
on top of another and create folders that you can name. I have put all my apps in 5 named folders this way xx

I think you misunderstood the question 😅 I can make folders just fine, its just when you open them they're not in alphabetical order. Thanks anyways!

Ah okay, yes I was with Nova before I realised the company that now owned them was a bit shady in terms of data collection, but hopefully they add this feature soon since it shouldn't be hard to put it in the OS.

12mo later and it still reverts to original folder order when you try to put it on homescreen...

I am a Samsung phone newbie and am facing the same situation. There is a Sort in the App screen.  But once you create a folder in the Home screen with apps you dragged and dropped from the App screen,  there is no option to sort those.

An obvious overlook by the UI Design folks.
