Booked a repair on line as the Z3 kept crashing. Took to EE as they were authorised repair centre ( although bought direct from Samsung). EE wouldn't touch it. Spoke to Samsung who confirmed warranty was now void. WTF! It was a screen protector. Nothing more. Where does it say in T&c's that removing a screen protector will void warranty. Absolutely ridiculous and a scandal. Long time Samsung family but NEVER EVER buy any product from them again.

The phone will have a years warranty and the screen a limited two years
If you have Samsung Care+. This would give you the extra cover.

You say crashing. What have you tried to do to remedy the issue.
If the phones memory is very full, consider using a cloud storage.
Have you tried to Wipe the Partition Cashe on the phone
In Safe mode, you can repair apps
Could be an app or theme issue that's causing it
A factory reset would be last of the options, but if all else fails then maybe an option
Just don't forget to backup first

Wait, you voided the warranty and want to blame a company?

Would you knock your wingmirrors off your car and then take it to the showroom for a free repair?

You played yourself.

What a stupid comparison.

Where does it say removing the screen protector voids the warranty?

Tried everything. Certainly not full. Have had to factory reset 3 times. No new apps and went through ever app individually but still no joy. Samsung tech said only solution was to send it for repair.

This isn't the first time you've played yourself: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-z-fold-z-flip/dreadful-repair-service/td-p/6535226

They always tell you exactly why the warranty is void. You can ask for clarification, but you're leaving out a detail here. Probably a physical damage you caused - now you're angry at yourself. Suck it up and take ownership.

It's frustrating, but it is what it is.

If you really feel you're right, you can contact ombudsman etc., but I suspect you'd be wasting your time.
Next time, buy insurance - they're one of the most expensive items we own. (well for me anyway).

So if I get poor service I shouldn't post?.
What a stupid assumption. How on earth can you presume I damaged the phone.

I'm not bothering to reply to such an *****.

You removed the screen protector, damaging the phone. It’s against the T&Cs. Do you just not read those ?
