Bought flip z 5 7 months ago still got 15 months to pay for it..screen went black across fold and got worse..samsung blamed us for screen damage when it was NOT..would not repair phone under warranty and wanted 100s to repair it...phone now in the bin and still have to pay for it...will never buy samsung ***** again...customer service were disgraceful..

Hey there

Sorry to hear of your issues. Samsung do check devices for damage before they will consider warranty claims. Some damage may be invisible to the naked eye and may be caused by a drop of the device for example.

That said, Samsung should explain what the damage is that they've found......

Samsung contract out to 3rd party repair service..100% phone had no damage to screen..failed across the fold..100s of other customers being told the same...not samsung fault..bad when a 1000s phone ends up in the bin

I'm disheartened to hear of the issues your currently experiencing with your phone 😔 

What damage has Samsung raised in regards to your phone ?

If your in the UK then if you have Home Contents Insurance this may cover your phone. 

And or some bank accounts provide cover as a perk of the account. It's definitely worth checking.

Also in the UK consumers and manufacturers are covered under the https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act 2015.  

This is definitely a worth a read.

The zflip 5 is a scam. Still paying for a phone that's not working and it's expensive to repair. Was told my screen has cracks but I never dropped it.

My screen was 100% not damaged. Lots of customers online say same about these screens samsung and 3rd party repair centre blaming customers..what they say goes...absolutely disgusting

Absolutely...samsung were NOT interested in anything we had to say ..the phone is now completely useless..had to buy a cheap phone for 50 pounds as still have to pay for this broken one for another 15 months
