I've saw a few posts with people having issues with wifi not turning on. Everything that has been suggested has been tried. Reboot, reset network settings, master reset. Nothing works! Sent the phone to Samsung for repair and they returned it saying no fault found. I'm not silly, there definitely is a fault as it will not turn on at all. And today Bluetooth wouldn't connect even though its turned on. £1600 device and Samsung won't accept there is a problem. Can anyone suggest next steps before I lose all my hair!?

I am in New Zealand, Z3 Fold. Same issue. Cannot turn on WiFi. Support made me do all the stupid reset issues. Including factory reset.  Now I cannot restore the phone because it tells me I need a wifi connection! The screen protector has two thin black lines down the middle in the fold area. However the issue happened immediately after the UI software update.   There have been dead spots on the phone in the centre previously.  Not fit for purpose. I will be asking for a refund under the NZ consumer guarantee act. Phone has not been dropped or wet.

) Kindly perform a reset network settings for your phone. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

2) To perform a soft reset on your device. Kindly hold the power button + volume down button together for 10 seconds to allow the phone to reboot.

3) Try to reboot your phone into a safe mode to helps you diagnose and determine whether the problem is triggered by some bad third-party application(s) you have installed on your Galaxy device which may not working normally after the latest software update that may interfere with the Wi-Fi calling signal/feature.

To enable safe mode, please follow the steps below:

a. Turn the device off.
b. Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen.
c. When "SAMSUNG" appears on the screen, release the Power key.
d. Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
e. Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
f. Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
g. Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode in the bottom left corner.

Verify and monitor whether the issue is resolved while in Safe Mode. If the issue is not happening while running in safe mode, then it implies that a third-party application is the trigger.

This can be resolved by uninstalling the application(s) causing the problem by going to Settings > Apps > Uninstall the app one by one and check which app is causing the issue.

To exit from Safe Mode, simply restart the phone. When it reboots, it will no longer be in Safe Mode.

Hi everyone,

My grandma received her last update (Galaxy Z Fold3 5G (SM-F926B) - Build-Nummer : F926BXXS4EWF3 - Android-Version : T (Android 13) - Veröffentlichungsdatum : 2023-07-13 - Sicherheitspatch-Ebene : 2023-07-01) and has now the same problem. The phone is crashing and restarting at some time using WiFi.

I tried to analyze the problem and found via logcat the following entrys:

I have tried to reset all Network Connections, rebooting (several times).
An interesting thing is, that I let the device run for some while (WiFi was working after a reboot).
But when I went back to my grandma, the device tried to login her WiFi Network, crashed, rebooted and since then, the WiFi won't turn back on.

Trying to boot into SafeMode is one thing I did not tried for now.
I will try it and give some feedback.

But maybe this can help to identify the issue further.

[Edith:]

So today I rebooted the Phone into Safemode.
Sadly it did not change anything.

Even within Safemode the WiFi Module won't boot up.
Are there any Ideas to solve this Issue?

I have the exact same issue. Really frustrating that Samsung aren't calling a product recall for this design flaw. I'm now going to have to pay over the odds for a replacement, which will likely happen again in another 2 years

I have the same issue. Some time after a recent update the phone randomly restarted itself and after that WIFI will not turn on. Screens are working fine, uninstalled Smart Things but that didn't help. If Samsung don't come to the party I will take this to the Australian Consumer Complaints Commission who will force them to fix it or replace the faulty, poor quality product. Samsung's shitty software interrupted me while writing this post to show a popup asking if I want to complete a survey, well Samsung survey says: your ***** stinks.

I am another one having this problem - Fold 3, based in UK. They asked me to pay £600 for a screen repair, which I wasn't willing to do. I was going to go to the Fold 5 in April, and my wife was also going to buy a Fold in November. No chance now

I am another one having the same problem. Based in kazakhstan which has basically no local Samsung service support. If there is a class action starting i would also be interested in joining.
