Flip3 5G shutting down when I fold it

Hi all

My flip 3 5G started to shutdown every time I fold the phone when it is not plugged in.  Does anyone have any tricks to try and stop this from happening please?

same problem I can only get it restarted once i plug it into the charger  any ideas on how to fix this problem

I am having the same isshe with my Z Flip 3. O2 want nothing to do with it, despite being only 17 month old from new.  Now my screen has popped.My wife had the exact same and her screen popped when she opened it.  They replaces it with a Grade A Flip 4 and 6 months later its not charging unless its heated up and now the screen has gone again at the fold...Samsung and the carrier, O2 are just obfusicating the issue and now I have had to claim on my insurance for both phones, which has juat made them suspicious. The Flip 3 and Flip 4 are lemons and Samsung should be pulling them all and replacing owners with new ones.

Display suddenly turns black but touch works, display comes after closing lid or after pressing the power button 2 to 3 times. battery percentage suddenly drops and after putting the charger it recovers immediately. Some times phone switches off automatically. what might be the problem??? it all started 4-5 days ago when I updated the phone. Is it due to the update or some app causing this problem?? whether battery replacement will solve my problem?? please help me
