Flip 5 no upgrading. Still on January update nothing since

Anyone help me iv not had an update for my flip 5 since January anyone else in the same boat ?

Hi thanks again reset mobile settings and have reset phone still no updates I'm thinking it has to do with EE . I had an unlocked flip 3 and got every update every month and now nothing . Samsung won't entertain me because I never bought the phone from them so I'm bricked

Hi there just found out it could be a contract phone someone has sold me and claimed the insurance . How do u know its on EE or BT if u don't mind me asking. Thanks so raging I cannot believe it

Your screenshot shows a CSC code of EVR which is for the EE/BT network.

1. There is no DBT, (Germany), CSC code for the Flip5 model F731B. EUX is the code that your earlier screenshot shows which is the generic code for Europe, including Germany and U.K. and updates for this are Europe wide. DBT does not appear anywhere in your CSC code.

2. I am confused. You stated earlier that your Flip5 was a Christmas present, bought from a local shop and now you say that it was sent to you by an insurance company.

I was told it was brought from a shop . I asked my mum who said she bought it from my uncle who had the phone dropped it and then claimed it on his insurance then sold the replacement to my mum thats why it looked brand new

In that case your uncle needs to take the matter up with his insurance company as their replacement seems to be incapable of updating.

Yeah we are doing that at the moment but the insurance company are saying the same as you that all samsung phone work in Europe and should update in Europe. Samsung aren't backing down they are saying the handset is definitely german . The insurance company is British d&g

Just as a matter of interest, which carrier is/was your uncle with?

Since you have tried an OTA and a Smart Switch update with an EE and Vodafone SIM card inserted to no avail then I suggest that the insurance company updates it for your uncle.
