Hey guys, hoping someone can help or confirm that I'm not going mad. I called Samsung about the issue but they were completely useless!
I updated my Z flip 3 on Sunday to android 12/UI 4.0 and straight away noticed that the edge lighting notification doesn't like to be changed from blue. If I change the colour to a different colour, but after 30mins or so the colour reverts back to blue.
Is anyone able to verify this or have any solution to how I can make the colour change be permanent like it was before?
Thanks

It seems your not alone with this @Lauraro

I would suggest to send some feedback also via the Samsung Members App under the GetHelp section.
I wish all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Under "notifications" its showing that the edge light notification is on but reverts back to blue when I check it after 30 minutes or so. My setting is also on "wave" for the light notification but that doesn't work for long either. It always goes back to blue, basic

Thanks for the advice. I haven't tried that option but I do like the colour to be 1 colour for all and for it to not be blue lol. It was working perfectly until the Android 12 update. It's a strange one so will probably have to wait for another update. Hopefully Samsung are now aware of it as I'm not the only one who's noticed this.
Many thanks for your input 🙂

Adding one more to the list of folks having problems with this. I love the edge lighting but can't handle the blue so will probably disable until an update. Glad to know I'm not alone!

I queried this on the US Samsung forum too and someone called @serenityseeker found a solution.
When selecting "colour" choose the option at the bottom right (the multi coloured one) That will open a whole load of colour options. Select one you want and then click on "done". That makes the colour stick and won't turn blue again 🙂
