Digital Keys

Hi.

I have both a Fold 5, and a Note 20 Ultra neither of which can be registered as a digital key with a 2024 BMW.

Being new, this car supports android and digital key. It says so in the app. I've updated the software on both the phones and car.

I've reset the keys in the car.

I've reinstalled the Samsung Wallet app.

But I still get the message 'Couldnt add key '

No one has been able to figure this out. I don't think it helps, but I can't delete the app and use Google wallet instead either. It just goes a Samsung wallet installer.

Any help appreciated.

Is it a free thing with BMW and enabled?

Beyond that before you uninstall Wallet, clear cache and data.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it is free and part of the car. I have tried what you suggested but still doesn't work with either phone. The only thing I'm thinking is, as my phones are from a different country than where I'm using the Wallet.
I understand we can now change the Samsung Wallet country from the website. I have done this in the Samsung wallet 'profile'. Yet the App is still showing links and updates from the country where I bought the phones, that's why I mention this.
Perhaps it is a firmware limitation when using Wallet outside of the country where purchased?
