I've had my fold 4 for a little over a year now. For a while I had started having problems connecting to any wifi. After resetting my phone a few times I didn't even have any service. Reset it again and I got service back but still no wifi. Last night I opened my fold and the phone shut off. Closed the phone, got it turned on opened it and the same thing. I've contacted samsung, they said I needed to get it fixed, nah really or buy a new phone. Contacted a place, they said they have seen a similar issue but all they could do is a factory reset that might help but has only worked a few times.

A factory reset is the deepest troubleshooting step you can take yourself. However, if this is a software or hardware problem, then a Samsung Service Centre is the best next step after that @FOLD4junk

You can perform a factory reset in General Management under Reset.

Other less invasive steps before that are to clear the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section and Safe Mode.

If i can be of any further help, please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Please let us know how you get on.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
