Hey guys. Ive got a fold 5 on the samsung upgrade program which i dont want to keepthe final payment is £320, but i have already bought a fold 7 now so dont want to keep the fold 5

Does anybody have any experience with sending back a 2 year old phone on the upgrade program? This is the first time ive stuck it out with a phone for the full 2 years so it does have a number of marks on it so im concerned about them charging me a surcharge upon return and have considered just paying the final amount and selling it private which could work out better to be fair.

If selling it privately would work out better financially then...

Do samsung put any markers on it to say theres finance on it? Like a hpi check? IE, do i need to pay the final payment before i sell it? The final klarna payment is a month tomoroe but id rather get shut of it before that really

Check how much the mobile phone recycling companies offer to see which offers better £
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Yeh well envirofone is saying 320 if i choose the fair condition which is covers the final klarna payment, i was just a bit concerned about any markers they might put on it in regards to finance which might not clear until the final payment date has passed.

After the first year you could upgrade.
I can't remember the cut off on the upgrade program, but after a certain time you would have to carry on with the payments.
But as this is the last one anyway, pretty sure you have to pay the final sum.
Best thing is to sell it privately or to a retailer that will purchase and use that to pay off the last payment
