Just got new flip 6. I added a cropped photo onto another picture but it won't save the edited version.

@ChipperJan: Are you using the editing feature in the Gallery app? If so, are you able to tap the 3 dots in the top right of the screen while in the editing suite, and select 'Save as copy'?

@ChipperJan: To give me a better understanding of the issue, please can you describe the steps you are taking prior to the issue occurring?

As a workaround, are you able to head to the Gallery app > Pictures tab > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Create > Collage, and connect the photos in this manner?

If you are trying to add a section of a photograph to another image, this should be possible by selecting a photo > Tap the smiley face symbol at the bottom of the screen > Stickers > Tap the Gallery symbol in the bottom left > Create sticker, then follow the on-screen prompts

So, I use a picture from the gallery, I click on the bottom left blue button that generates images with AI. I then go to the top right three dots. it says add from gallery, so I find the picture i want to add and circle around the bit of the picture, I then press done, that section goes into the original picture, so at the bottom and the top dots there are no options to save the edited picture. So you can't save.

@ChipperJan: If you move the slider below the picture, then hit 'Generate', then the option to save should appear at the top of the screen. It's not entirely intuitive, however the option to Generate will remain greyed out unless you adjust the slider.

The alternative approach is to add the image as a sticker, as per my previous reply:

If you are trying to add a section of a photograph to another image, this should be possible by selecting a photo > Tap the smiley face symbol at the bottom of the screen > Stickers > Tap the Gallery symbol in the bottom left > Create sticker, then follow the on-screen prompts.

I understand about the slides at the bottom, but it turns the picture, it works but it's not logical to save. Maybe a littk3 update would help. As I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue. Thanks.

@ChipperJan: I appreciate your concerns. For what you're trying to achieve, the best approach would be to add the image to the existing photo as a sticker. Outside of the editing suite, you can also press and hold on and area of the photo, and select 'Save as sticker', if this is easier for you. After that, follow the steps in my previous post, and you should be good to go.

Of course, you can't save when you haven't edited anything, but just added another picture. Continue editing, tap any part of the image (you can tap up to 10 times), then tap "Generate" and when it's done, the option "save as a copy" will appear above.
