Black screen when opening my phone

Hi for the last week or so I'm having trouble with my Samsung z flip 3, when I open the flip the screen goes black and won't come on unless I push the side button couple of times or have to close it and open it again can anyone help or is there anyone else having this problem can samsung fix this issues?

Sure no problem, will let you know as soon as they call me, I did mention to them it was working perfectly until the latest update.

Phone come back today, had screen and battery replaced, no black screen as of yet, the repair was free, maybe worth a trip to your local samsung repair store, all phones come with 24month warranty providing you can show proof of purchase or contract, I wish you the best of luck getting it resolved, will update if mine starts acting up again over the coming days.20220818_212644_9507_1660854406.jpg

Hi Shelley, oh ok so couple of bits replaced then, and yeah mine is on contract and had it about 8 months, but this black screen is getting on my nerves happening everytime I open the flip and go and use my phone so have to close it and open it again. But I think I will defp have to take it to samsung shop how did you book it in or find the shop? X

I just called up my nearest samsung experience store and made a appointment took it in and was surprised how fast it was fixed wasn't expecting it back for 5 days.

If its on contract you can take it to your provider but that takes longer as it then gets sent over to samsung for repair, best to just google your nearest samsung experience store and give them a call to get it booked in.

Excellent I do that I Google it as I'm on EE and can take it to them to get repaired but as you said could take longer. Thanks for your help 👍 🙂

It's been a few days, the phone is working perfect, battery life seems better than its ever been, I fully charged it yesterday morning and the battery is currently at 84% I'm amazed it's never been so good.
