Apps crashing on my Samsung S9+ Secure Folder whenever I take a screenshot

Hello,

I recently updated my S9+ on the 14th March 2021 (g965fxxsffub3) and I noticed that whenever I take a screenshot on my phone and try sharing it via any app (WhatsApp, Instagram) in my secure folder, the App crashes and stops working. I get error messages such as "WhatsApp keeps stopping" or "Instagram keeps stopping".

I have cleared the cache for these Apps whenever this happens but it doesn't solve the issue.

The Apps in my secure folder only get to work after I must have restarted the phone.

N.B: This issue doesn't happen to the other Apps(WhatsApp & Instagram) I have outside the secure folder. Reason I know it is a secure folder problem.

I will appreciate if anyone can help as it frustrating having to restart my phone every time I take a screenshot just to use an App in my Secure folder.

WOW at long last!!!!  I just upgraded my galaxy not 9 with the Aug 1, 2021 security patch and the bug is gone!!  Think that took them lik almost halfa year to fix??

I can no screen shot inside secure folder to my hearts content, I've then opened other apps requiring txt input and they're no longer crashing.

Can anyone else who's upgraded to the Aug 1 security patch confirm this solves the issue on their phone?

Nope, just updated the patch this morning. The problem still exist!!

No, I'm still having the issue. In fact, it's worse for me now - before, when apps inside secure folder would crash, I could wait it out for 5 mins and they would work again. Now, I need to restart my phone completely or else they won't work at all

I updated my phone to the August patch. It fixed the issue on my Note 9.

That's lucky for you. The August patch changes nothing on my note9. The problem is still here.

Interesting, as I have a note 9 as well, and the problem has disappared now.  I did implement some of the workarounds earlier in the thread (setting captures to .PNG I think?), which previously made no difference...   But I wonder if now after the august patch, the previous settings I adopted are what's allowing me to operate without seeing the crashes.  

Suggest anyone running a note  9 search the earlier posts in this thread and try setting the captures to .PNG (I think that was what the suggestion was...), and post if that solves it, after applying the August patch?

The problem has not yet been resolved, I suggest everyone who is not indifferent to this problem to rate the Secure Folder application on Google Play as I did, perhaps this way they will pay attention to this bug faster!

Is this problem still persistent with anyone else? I am still experiencing crashes anytime I screenshot, and still at the point where I must restart my phone fully in order to be able to use any app inside the secure folder.
