Has anyone tried wireless charging their S25 Ultra yet?

Have myself a 15w fast wireless charger I have been using for MANY years with my S23 Ultra but my S25 wont charge, it shows charging but disconnects and reconnects continuously. With or without the Samsung case.

Are these limited to QI2 only? Is the phone faulty or the software an issue?

Not against replacing the charger but if its going to be the same, what about QI1 wireless cars etc...

I used a Ugreen 100w. Samsung is only 45w I think so would not make a difference.
Just watched this video which had the same problem with a Belkin one.

Might be a dumb thing for me to ask but are you using a magnet case to wireless charge? I believe that's the only way it would charge fast using wireless pad, if it has a magnetic case.

I tried Anker Powerbank Qi2 and a Puck Charger Ugreen Qi2. The S25 Ultra does not charge at speeds up to 15 Watt. More like 5-7 Watt. I feel fooled by Samsung! And as usual, NO Info at all, nowhere....

There's an app called Charge Meter that I've just downloaded, I don't know how accurate it is but im testing my new UGREEN 15w Qi2 Magsafe battery pack...

Toggling between fast wireless charging or not doesn't seem to make any difference.

Like all electric charging, it's the PEAK power that's quoted and will vary on a curve - the lower state of charge (SoC), the higher the peak power.

I'll do some more testing with better stats but I attached the power bank at 20% where it took around 10mins to 30% but an hour to 60%.

Right now at 64% the 15w power pack is only drawing 8-10w (likely reducing as it gets hotter, and higher SoC)

Equally by comparison, my 45w wired charger is pulling around 18w at this same SoC.1738785326830.jpg1738785326839.jpg

I think this boils down to that the chargers is not optimized for the new s25u. Or that it not support fast charging on the s25u. It's a newer charging technology with the ability to charge and use magsafe wireless chargers. This might be issued and patched in a later sw update for the s25 ultra.

There are some Interesting aspects in this charging test: https://youtu.be/EcN5-vV3aBw?si=8xgzE-mP9xo_HYoT

I'm having the same issue. I've tried brand new chargers,  older chargers both with and without my case.  I have a Pitaka ultra thin case on it, and I had the OhSnap grip and chargers that worked fine on the Note 20 Ultra I just traded in.  The charging just blinks on and off and I think actually drains the battery faster.

What brand of wireless chargers?

Since it's a brand new phone the battery and phone is in its learning stage and will be more unstable.

This charger from Amazon works at 15W, you just have to wait 10-20 seconds for it to stabilise: UGREEN MagFlow MagSafe Charger Compatible, 15W Wireless Charger Stand, 2-in-1 Magnetic Charging Station. The ESR Qi2 charger's also works at 15W.

Funny thing. I bought a chevy trail blazer with wireless charging pad. S24 Ultra was great. Got the 25 Ultra and would not hold a charge connection even with no case. Ended removing rubber pad from the charge tray now it will charge with case IF I get it positioned just right. Its not a designed for charging case. Going to pick up a charge case and hopefully it will not be as finicky. Either way though it will not charge on top the rubber mat
