Why just Buds 3 and not Buds 3 Pro

I ordered my S25 Ultra on Wednesday and used the promo code to get free Buds 3. Why are all the mobile phone operators offers free Buds 3 Pro rather than the Buds 3. I think it's really unfair. Why has Samsung done that?

Old stock palm it off as an enticement to draw you in. All sales gimmicks, but something is better than nothing. I'm happy with my buds 2 pro, to be honest. My ears are the same

I would have liked to see the Pro model offered too.

@Spongey78  Whilst the Bids3 Pro would have been a more attractive offer they are more expensive , aditionally more likely to have surplus stock of the older model.  At the end of the day will not be a major factor in the purchasing decision.

Usually it is a bit of a tech clear out. Perhaps the buds 3 haven't sold as well as samsung anticipated.

However it is 'free' so you can choose whether to keep or sell onwards and pocket the money.

I have just done a quick look on the Internet and these seem to be the main operators... hardly anyone is offering anything other than double storage. So actually samsung are offering more than most.

EE... galaxy watch 7 package but costing a £5 a month for the watch.

O2... get the buds 3 pro for £20

Three... no freebies

Vodafone... no freebies

ID mobile... no freebies

Carphone warehouse ... no freebies.

Lol guess I've been caught out. An advert for O2 came up on my phone suggesting they would be free and I think I also heard it on the radio! Maybe they aren't all offering them. I just thought it's a bit cheeky to not give us the 3 Pro if others are offering them! I got the Buds 2 Pro when I bought the S23U as a freebie 2 years ago and while they are great earphones, they keep popping out of my ear. The reviews suggest the same with the Buds 3. I'll just stick to headphones!

I think in the US, not only do they have massive trade in and money off incentives, they are offering the buds pro for $20, seems pretty unfair that we in the UK get lesser deals, I think the prize draw in the UK is £500 and in the US 10x that?

The buds 3 didn't sell as well as the buds 3 pro and the audio quality isn't the best. It's also not as flashy as the pro so I'm assuming they have lots of stock to offload. I use buds 3 pro and they're great. Never had any issue so I might keep the freebie as a spare or sell for some extra cash.

It makes sense the Bud 3 didn't sell well. I think if I was buying outright, I'd want the 3 Pro. I'm not sure in the earpods world if people bother with the cheaper versions. I still think when buying a top end phone, S25U they could either give us the 3 Pro for free or as in US, for £20!
