(SOLVED) How to decide what apps use 4G /5G?

I don't know why I'm suffering with amnesia, but I can't seem to remember where the setting is to decide what apps use 4G and what apps use 5G , I can't find it anywhere.... Help ?

The reason you can't find it is that i do not believe it is possible to have that level of controls over mobile data.

You can change your connection settings to turn off 5G, and you can turn off background data for each app in their own settings.

You can also use connection settings- data usage - data connection for apps. This will list your apps and select WiFi and mobile data connections or not.

But I do not believe you can tell any specific apps to 'only use 5g' or only 4g. It is either allowed to use WiFi or mobile data.

There actually is a way to do that. Good guardians app, battery guardian, network power saving.

I wouldn't really recommend it as 5g doesn't use any extra power than 4g but hey you can

Ok so it isnt the standard UI but through good guardians.

But I way i read it... is that this 5G setting only applies to the nominated apps... if your mobile data is running low.

They both are the same, doesn't make much difference. 5G is better on Wf-Fi
