So if your thinking of trying the One Ui 8 beta bare in mind that if you decide to leave the beta program it takes about 3 hours to downgrade and setup your phone again. It did for me anyway. Smart switch downloaded One Ui 7 quick enough but then said downloading again which I presumed meant downloading it onto my phone which took over an hour. Then had to restore my backup then messing about signing in to various apps. Then ended up having to reset my watch to get it to pair again and then set the watch up again.
Thanks for providing this information to Members, as long as sorted now even if not the best experience. were there particular issues you had with the Beta?

Not anything to bad. Network coverage was a bit iffy at times and it once seemed to put itself into airplane and battery saving mode. I reported both issues.
Yes not a straightforward process. Ended up losing all the watch faces I'd acquired over time so will have to download them all again. Also Google can be a right pain to sign back into as it keeps saying it's sending a notice to your phone to prove it's you but then doesn't send anything. Took me about half an hour trying to sort that out.
Not really noticing any issues, at least not affecting my regular use, yet.
Been testing Light mode for a few days and it appears to run practically the same as Standard with no noticeable gains (or deficiencies for that matter).
