Hey everyone, I have an issue with my s25u. I try and listen to Spotify and the media just stops playing. This happens when I am both online and off-line. It also happens with other apps such as meditation apps etc. I can't seem to work it out. I have tried restarting the phone, uninstalling the apps, nothing is optimised etc. Can't work it out.? Any ideas please

Hi! @Christie8

I would suggest following this
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-backup-my-smartphone-to-my-pc-or-mac/

And then factory reset.

Do we think this will help your issue? Have you tried other troubleshooting methods?

"I was able to fix my "media storage keeps stopping" messages by going to settings > apps > three dot menu at top right of screen and hitting "reset app preferences". Took care of all of my storage problems. I hope that clears up your problem!"

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hello all, I am stuck. My media keeps stopping for no reason when listening to music, meditation apps etc. I am ready to throw my phone. It has not been great since I used samsung smart switch. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to factory reset and what backup to use. I understand that there is google backup, samsung and smart switch but seems I have bugs. Any help is appreciated.

My suggestion would be smart switch again and hope it works. You could set it to only restore contacts and images while not restoring apps and settings. Then you'll have all your personal things but no apps or system related things will have transfered over. Apps and settings you can handle manually. Google shouldn save the list of apps you had somewhere
