Media stops playing s25u

Hey everyone, I have an issue with my s25u. I try and listen to Spotify and the media just stops playing. This happens when I am both online and off-line. It also happens with other apps such as meditation apps etc. I can't seem to work it out. I have tried restarting the phone, uninstalling the apps, nothing is optimised etc. Can't work it out.? Any ideas please

This was happening to me, nearly sure it was because I had put app into deep sleep category

Hey Johnz237.  Just testing this now with spotify and I think this may have fixed my issue. Thanks so much so far so good. I was able to locate my app and put it in never sleeping apps. So far it's working and hasn't stopped. Thanks man I'll let you know if it doesn't work but so far it's working.  

The solution: "I was able to fix my "media storage keeps stopping" messages by going to settings > apps > three dot menu at top right of screen and hitting "reset app preferences". Took care of all of my storage problems. I hope that clears up your problem!"

So far so good. This is fantastic. Spotify now shows up so I added it ti the never sleeping apps. Great suggestion thanks again!

Ok issue came back again. I have officially tried everything and it seems like I have to factory reset my phone unfortunately
