How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

No, how bout the $1500 thing I buy, shouldn't OVERHAUL EVERYTHING WHILE I'M SLEEPING. One UI 7 is hot garbage, and I'm ditching samsung the first chance I get. Or I'm rooting it. Whichever happens first

If I wanted an iPhone, I would buy an iPhone. Let me keep my things where I want them.  I bought a Z Fold 6. Do you think I care about one-hand mode? That's what accessibility settings are for. I want the search bar at the top.

Please give us an option to pick search-bar location: top/bottom. This was a very drastic change given there is no setting to change it.

I have a same issue. I have been using personal and work app on my phone S22U since they moved  the search bar to the bottom on S25U those two options have gone to the top make it difficult to use. I almost never use search button or maybe one in a blue moon. Why would they change something and not make it customizable????? This is so annoying. Samsung plz fix it. Add customization to it.

We swipe up to bring up the search bar up, so my fingers are closer to the top. Makes more sense for the search bar to be at the top. Especially for one-handed use. My thumb now has to stretch back down to the bottom to type in the app I want. I know this seems petty, but if ease of use is the goal, Samsung's update is moving further away from that.

Yes I will search the other thread but I also gave it a cursory look and didn't see what I was looking for but it goes beyond muscle memory... you have to search at the bottom of the screen and then the results are at the top of the screen so whether or not your muscle memory was at the bottom it has to go back to the top anyway... this looks like an apple look alike that was migrated to Samsung... give us back the bar at the top...

I hate the new update from UI 7 where the search bar is at the bottom on app page in menu and i can't seem to find a way to move it. Anyone able to help?
