Sad for the loss of camera shutter, will old s pen work on s25 ultra?

Does anyone know if you could use the pen from s24 ultra in s25 ultra? I will miss the camera shutter option. Really don't understand how they could remove this.

What about the spen pro will it still work fully with s25 ultra with gestures and camera controls.

Also I saw this on shop Samsung is this a bt enabled add on spen for s25 for those that want those features

Upgrading from s10 to s25, i never wanted a Pen, for shutter i would use my Watch.
That said i would have loved if the Ultra has a version without the Pen while retained every other Hardware aspect.

So yeah, when they removed the Bluetooth, why keep the Pen? That is the onyl Question i have.
Anyway, i use my phones kinda long if the Update support is long enough, so in a decade i will look forward for a new Ultra, focusing on Gadgets (watch, headset, maybe ring? who knows) until then.

This really sucks. If I would have known this, I would have never upgraded from the s24 Ultra. Next time I will wait a bit longer to purchase & do a better comparison job before upgrading. I use the sPen camera shutter feature a lot. That's actually the only sPen Bluetooth feature I use other than the basic writing features. Such a bummer. @hari7 is right. "Removing is the new features these days!"

I am using the S Pen as remote shutter very often too especially when I have my solo trip to other country. That's really disappointed!

Yeah you're right and the watch idea is stupid. What you gonna do take the watch off to take a picture. Ridiculous

Lol no the watch is touch screen, you just have to press a button on it to take a picture 😂 for me is just not cost effective, I do not weare it...

This is a very poor decision, I use this function everyday for work and also when taking a family celebration photo. I will not buy an S25 Ultra if this continues, I may pick up a 24, but if this is the end, I'll run my 23 Ultra in to the ground. Poor show Samsung. I was an advocate.
