Galaxy S25 camera - blurry photos, out of focus

I just recently tested the camera of my Samsung Galaxy S25 (Navy Blue, 256Gb). Camera is version 15.0.01.71.
I printed out this focus chart and took some pictures with the 12MP, 50MP and 0.6x Ultrawide cameras. I also did the same test with the Huawei Mate 9 on the main camera (12MP and 20MP resolution).

Am I crazy to say that the Huawei Mate 9, a phone that's now 9 years old, took better photos than the Galaxy S25? I'm particularly disappointed with the Galaxy S25 Ultrawide camera, as it took an extremely blurry photo. I'm also quite concerned because I noticed in GSMArena's review of the Galaxy S25 that their unit was plagued by some kind of lens misalignment issue. Coincidentally, their unit was also navy blue 256GB model, same as my Galaxy S25.

Is anyone else having this issue with the Galaxy S25 (or even S25+) taking blurry photos, especially noticeable on the ultra-wide lens? I noticed that there are some blurry areas around the corners on the main camera on the S25, but not on the Mate 9. Every photo was taken with default autofocus on both phones. I really don't know what the issue might be, but the Galaxy S25 photos look worse. ☹️

Look at the right side of both photos and tell me which one you think is clearer...

It not too much of a difference but yes s25 is not worth

And I don't know if everyone gets that kind of "clarity" from an ultra-wide camera, but this photo is terrible...

Sharing an additional photo for comparison. I don't know if this is a software or hardware issue. You can see the black number 22 in the bottom right, which is clearer on the Mate 9. Also, all the silver details (numbers, squares, etc.) look more blurry on the S25.

Little explainer before I start. I have an s25 ultra. Meaning my ultra wide has auto focus. The base s25 does not have auto focus on the ultra wide. When I take a picture up close, my phone swaps to the ultra wide as it can focus at closer objects. I will now reply with each image explaining which camera took them

Just tried posting, samsung members compresses them making them all look terrible. So I'll have to just say what I found. Normal camera, no issues. Ultra wide does look a bit soft but kinda expected.

Kinda trying to say the ultra wide will always be a little soft as its ultra wide, that's the point of it. Plus on a base s25, it doesn't have autofocus.

For your normal camera shots, I'm capturing the individual grains in the paper and dots from the printer. So they seem perfect. Though yes, I do have laser auto focus but the cameras are still the same sensors.

Honestly expected to find a problem but my specific device seems to act normal
