I purchased the S25 Ultra for its camera. In particular for its 'Ultra Wide Camera'. But so far it appears to be no better than my old Note 9 and photos are no wider. Am I missing something? There appears to be no setting in the camera setting for wide angle.

Sorry for my late reply. Lost power and got locked out as I could not at first remember my new access code! Anyway, I have now tried all the settings recommended and I am pleased to say the photos are far wider now than my Note 9.
I will take a look at Camera Assistant.
Thank you Bindex and others for your help. Much appreciated.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I go to camera, photo and the n12m and no.6x setting to get the widest view. Pro gives a slighter wider view but no greater than on my old Note 9.
I don't really want to download another app as I would expect such basic settings would be included. Also I am not convinced the Expert RAW app would give a wider angle. In addition, I prefer jpeg over raw.
I am so disappointed that if this is not resolved I will return the phone.

What megapixels are you currently trying to shoot photos in?
If you have it set to 200M, please lower it down to 12M or 50M as you can't use the ultrawide camera in the 200 Megapixel setting.

Would you be able to take a screenshot of the main camera app with the camera set to 0.6x?
